Ticket To Ride is back! And this year it’s bigger than ever with lots of additional cycling activities making it a real Cycling Festival. Bring family & friends and join in the fun at at Churchfields Rec in Hanwell on Sunday 1 July and Northala Fields on Sunday 8 July. There’s loads of pedalling things happening including a Cycling Cinema. And ofcourse, come along and join our instructors for Ticket To Ride - fun, free, family-friendly bike rides leaving every hour, on the hour, throughout both Festival days. The rides are suitable for all abilities and will explore some of the borough’s best off-road cycle routes, landscapes and towpaths. There is no need to book just pop along about 20 minutes before your preferred ride time for a free bike check.

We deliver Bikeability in primary schools across the Borough of Ealing for Years 4, 5 and 6 and in secondary schools for Years 7, 8 & 9. Bikeability helps children to gain practical skills and understanding of how to cycle on today’s roads. There's more information about the Ealing Bikeability courses HERE.

In Ealing you can keep your bicycle rolling all Summer by visiting one of the many free Dr Bike sessions across the borough. Whether Ealing residents, students or workers just want their bike checked over, or tyres pumped up, brakes or gears adjusted, a niggling problem looked into or would like to chat to someone about cycling, they can pop along to one of Cycle Training UK’s Dr Bike sessions.

There’s is no need to book, just turn up in good time before the start of ride – times and locations of the rides programme will be confirmed at the beginning of July.
A series of Tuesday morning rides during June & July for women who haven’t cycled for years or only ride occasionally. Led by Breeze Champion Evelyn Gloyn, the rides will run for 7 weeks and start in Southall Park and venture out to places like Hanwell Zoo, Osterley House, Northala Fields, Hillingdon Cycle Track. Riding together as a family can be fun and rewarding. A Family Training session helps get everyone in the family riding confidently and you’ll pick up really useful tips about riding as a group that will reduce the stress and worry about cycling together. Groups will ride in the park and on the roads depending on their abilities. Soon you’ll be riding everywhere as a family! Just come along to our free, drop-in Family Cycle Training sessions, there's no need to book, just turn up in good time for the start of the session.

The Cycling Cinema will be back on 26 August at Lammas Park. The silver screen will come to life at 8.30pm, as long as someone’s pedalling!
