Silver Cycling Volunteers (Lambeth)

What is Silver Cycling?

We are looking for volunteers to take older people in Lambeth out for a ride to a park or on quiet roads, either in a rickshaw or on a side-by-side cycle. You will have an opportunity to chat with them, to exchange stories and to both have fun in the fresh air. You can do this at a time that suits you.

Silver Cycling is linked to the international Cycling Without Age project. It also has links to Lambeth’s Positive Spin project  in that, where possible, we try and help people to be active and to get exercise on a cycle.

Where does Silver Cycling take place?

We are running the project from two Lambeth locations: Helmi House SW9 0BQ; and Royal Trinity Hospice SW4 0RN

We will be running a volunteer training session at Trinity Hospice — date to be confirmed.

We will offer first aid training if you require this, and ensure you are DBS checked

Please drop us an email if  you are interested or have any questions
