Learn to ride a bike with safe and supportive training. We aim to get you riding independently within your first session. (You can rent a bike from us for your lesson, if you do not have one of your own). Achieve your long-term aims; with a number of lessons you will be able to use your bike to make on-road journeys.
Past project: Complete Beginner course - Selma ShiraziBuild your confidence and learn how to share the road safely with other road users. We teach you how to negotiate common road situations, from how to use a T-junction to cycling on multi lane roads. Our training takes place on-road; it's practical and at a pace that suits you. You will need a roadworthy bike of your own for these lessons.
Lessons for regular urban cyclists who want to make their journeys safer and more enjoyable. From multi-lane filtering to negotiating one of London's gyratory systems, experience assertive cycling with the professionals. Our sessions are tailor-made for you.
Past project: Advanced cycling skills - Oliver SchickWe teach children from the age of 6 upwards to ride their bikes in fun, safe lessons. Complete beginners will need one to one lessons but we can teach children in pairs once they have mastered riding independently. We also cater for children with learning and physical disabilities. Get in touch to discuss this.
We can teach families to ride together. For any group there is a best formation. We can show you how to ride protectively with your children and how to encourage them to use their bikes more.
We can teach groups of people to ride together. If you intend to ride regularly with a partner or friends we can show you the best way to ride in a group.
Our popular one-day basic and intermediate cycle maintenance courses are held on a regular basis (click here for dates) at our dedicated central London training centre.
The basic course (click here for syllabus) is suitable for anyone wanting to learn how to keep a bike in good working order. Learn to fix a puncture or change your brake blocks.
The intermediate course (click here for syllabus) focuses on more complex tasks such as wheel truing and re-greasing bearings.
Each course costs £60 per person. If you live or work in certain London boroughs the cost can be subsidised to as little as £5 per person. See here for details.
We also offer bespoke maintenance training, either on a one to one basis or to small groups of individuals. Call us to discuss.
