From school gate to Secretary of State

CTUK instructors were recently asked to assist a group of young people cycle from Clapham Manor School to Westminster to deliver Cycling Englands response to the Governments Staying Safe Consultation.

A dossier of evidence demonstrating that rising fears over safety are stopping children from experiencing the fun, freedom and health benefits from cycling was delivered to Kevin Brennan, the Minister for Children. Philip Darnton - chairman of Cycling England was also on hand for the full press call which also included the whole trip being filmed by the press.
